Our employee spotlight for this issue is on Kathryn Stace. Kathryn has worked for Dr. Coombe since 1995.  So we’ve asked her to take a minute to share with you a little bit of her history and what has kept her working with Dr. Coombe for 10 years.

My husband, Lance, and I were both born and raised in Central Oregon .  Our passion for the area includes camping, fishing, hunting and water sports.  Our son, Loren, attended Redmond High School and graduated in 2006.  In our spare time Lance and I manage my family ranch in LaPine.

I began my dental training with Dr. Coombe in 1995, shortly after he arrived in Central Oregon .  I have attended continuing education seminars every year since then.  These seminars include financial management, bookkeeping, patient treatment, patient communications, telecommunications and customer service.  I have attended the Oregon Dental Convention numerous times along with an advanced training for Dentrix, our dental computer software.  I have also completed courses through the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum with Dr. David Hornbrook in La Jolla , California .

From the very beginning, Dr. Coombe invoked confidence in me to broaden my dental education.  This kind of inspiration is what has allowed me to grow not only in my job, but as an individual as well.  His continual support has encouraged me to perform to the best of my abilities.  This reinforcement has allowed me to grow within his practice and promises for future expansion of my knowledge in the dental field.
